The Vertical Art Dance Angel Aerial Rigging Plate™ is a unique, customized rigging plate designed to replace any traditional rigging plate currently being used in aerial arts applications.
Our plate is the first, decorative-style rigging plate engineered exclusively for the aerial arts industry. This 6000 series aluminum rigging plate has an MBS (Minimum Breaking Strength) of 8,000lbs or 36kN and is ½” in thickness.
The thick, weighted metal becomes a beautiful, visual focal point of your aerial silk rigging. Featured on the plate are two pick points, made for a specific style carabiner, bar stock or frame for safety. The Sterling Rope Osprey carabiner pairs very well with this plate.
Each carabiner Point of Connection (POC) has a heat resistant rubber ring which is designed to reduce vibration being passed into the carabiner. These rubber rings also trap the connectors which forces its orientation. Cross-loading a connector is very difficult to achieve while using this plate as directed.

Engineered as the first decorative style rigging plate and made exclusively for the aerial arts industry.
It is the perfect solution for solo or duo apparatus rigging! The plate can be flipped “upside down” and you can connect into any of the available points on the plate’s surface. The wings of the Angel have also been ergonomically designed so that you can hold them like “handles.”
